The Hudson-Mohawk Road Runners Club (HMRRC) is seeking applicants for the 2018 CDPHP® Workforce Team Challenge Charity of Choice. The race – the largest between Utica and New York City – will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Empire State Plaza in Albany.
For more than 30 years, HMRRC has organized the event, which attracts more than 9,000 runners and walkers and hundreds of volunteers. Each year, in conjunction with the race, HMRRC selects one or more charities of choice, each of which receives a donation from CDPHP, as well as direct contributions from race participants.
Eligibility and Requirements
To be eligible to apply, your organization must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides health or human services to communities in the Capital Region, and it must not have been selected as a Workforce Team Challenge charity of choice within the past five years. The application deadline is Friday, January 26, 2018. The 2018 charities will be selected by the end of January.
